Our family came together overnight it seemed like. At the age of 48, my hubby and I got our three not so little bundles of joy. However, all that joy came with its own challenges. I had to learn how to cook for 5 not 2 while navigating the challenges of being a new mom and all the stress that comes with it. I learned how much of an impact the right nutrition can have on children with ADHD. I'm always having conversations with other moms on the impact food has on children, especially with ADHD. In fact meal planning has had a calming effect on everyone in our family. It was a form of self care, that I didn't realize I needed.
