RECIPE

Honeycrisp Bourbon Drink

Football season is here and I love having a drink while watching a game. While a lot of times we drink beer, it nice to switch it up and have a cocktail. This cocktail was the hubs idea. He was like I saw a honeycrisp apple drink somewhere that sounded good. Well hun what was in it. Hubs “I don’t know.” So it was up to me create one. I see us drinking this cocktail during the fall and winer, as long as we can get apple cider.

We were able to get fresh apple cider, but if you can’t store bought will do. I actually love the honeycrisp apple cider from Trader Joes. We used a good quality bourbon in this drink, we cause we only did 1 1/2 ounces per drink. One thing I have been working on is not doing simple syrup in drinks. Making a simple syrup takes time and I am trying to make things easier for you. So I am either adding honey or like this one I added maple syrup just for a hint of sweetness. I don’t know about you but maple, apple and bourbon is one of my favorite combinations ever. The flavors compliment each other perfectly.

Have a cocktail you want me to make? Well, drop me a line and tell me what it is and I will get on making it.

I can’t wait to hear how you like this cocktail.
