RECIPE

Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

Making donuts is one of my favorite things to bake, especially with the kids. I don’t need a mixer and they don’t take long to make. Isabella loves to bake with me. Her two favorite things to make are cookies and donuts. She had fun making these donuts with me and learning how to pipe the batter into the donut pans.

Spending time in the kitchen with the kids means a lot to them and myself. Even though some days I would rather just do it myself, I know they love helping and spending  quality time with them is huge. Plus I remember being in the kitchen with my mom and how special that was to me. I know she is smiling down on me and the kiddos.

If you don’t have a donut pan, I suggest getting one. I have a few different ones, just make sure it is metal. I prefer them the best. I also got a donut hole pan too, because they are always fun to make and have around the house.

Tips & Recommendations

You can substitute sour cream for the greek yogurt. My donuts always take 9 minutes to bake, bake time may vary on your oven. You can make these ahead of time. don’t dip them in the butter and cinnamon sugar. Dip them when they come out of the freezer and defrost a little.
