The Best and Easiest Burgers

I love a good burger and as my sister would say I am a food snob. I haven’t eaten a fast food burger in over ten years. I am super picky about my burger. I like it cooked medium and I want it to be juicy with flavor. So I have worked hard on this recipe. Now a days when we are craving a burger, we eat at home. The last time I made these burgers, Lele couldn’t stop saying how good they were and they were the perfect burger.

Here are my secrets for a good burger. Ingredients are super important to a good burger. I use ground sirloin majority of the time and or organic meat. Good meat is important, because it is basically the whole thing. I add Montreal Steak Seasoning, yes that is the best flavoring for a burgers. I add a little bit of salt and peppers. That is it. We don’t use ketchup or mustard, sometimes I will add an aioli sauce. This burger doesn’t really need anything, except cheese. We use American, Cheddar, Colby or even Gruyère cheese. That is it. Super simple and super delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1  ¼ lb ground sirloin
  • 2 tsp Montreal Steak seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Your favorite cheese-We use American, Cheddar and Smoked Gouda
  • 4 Martin Potato Rolls
  • Your favorite toppings-Everything Aioli and Guacamole

 

Directions

  1. Mix ground sirloin and seasoning, make into 4 patties, cover and place in the refrigerator for 20  minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill on medium heat..
  3. Grill each burger on each side for 6-8 minutes depending on how you like your burgers cooked. Add cheese for the last 2 minutes to melt.
  4. Top with your favorite toppings. I use everything aioli and guacamole.
  5. We use Martin’s Potato Rolls
Ready in 40 minutes Makes 3-4 burgers

 

Tips & Recommendations

Let the patties sit for a little bit this helps the burgers keep form and the seasoning to set in. By putting a little indentation in the center of the burger, it helps the burger to cook more flat.
