Amazing 4 Ingredient New York Strip Steak
Knowing how to make a good steak is so important, especially if your hubby is a steak lover. When Jimmy and I got married he taught me a lot about making a great steak. Now I make the most amazing steaks and they are so easy make. I have took from what I learned from him and now I am the steak expert in our house. We like our steak medium/medium rare, with some pink in it. If you like it more done, just cook it more. Trust me if you haven’t tried medium give it a try. It did take me a few times to really enjoy it. Now I only like my steak medium/medium rare.

Ingredients
- 4 New York Strip Steaks
- 1 tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Butter optional
Directions
- Let steak sit for about 30 minutes with Worcestershire sauce and Montreal steak seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 400 or heat your grill to medium heat.
- Depending on thickness of steak, grill on each side 4-6 minutes or cook in the oven 4-6 minutes. Cook until done to your likeness.
- Remove steak from oven or grill, let rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
- Put butter on each steak if desired.
Tips & Recommendations
Steak is really about the quality of meat, we always get our steak from the local butcher market or from a local farmer. When you have a good quality steak, it doesn’t take a lot of seasoning. Also letting your steak warm up before grilling or cooking is key.
