RECIPE

Baked Garlic Butter Salmon

Salmon aka orange chicken is favorite in our house. Isabella calls every meat chicken and she always says she doesn’t like fish. So we call salmon orange chicken and she eats it for the most part. This recipe is like melt in the mouth type of recipe. The salmon is so full of flavor and just falls apart when you eat it. It pairs so well with this my rice pilaf.

There is so much flavor in the marinade, so you just have to let it marinade for 30-45 minutes tops. The other day I made this salmon and only let it marinade for 15 minutes and it was just as good. Mix all the ingredients together and pour most of the marinade over the salmon in a freezer bag. Make sure to save some of the marinade for after it is done cooking. Place each piece of salmon on tin foil and tent each one. Place on a tray side with sides and bake for 15 minutes. After the salmon is done take the leftover marinade and spoon a little bit on top of the salmon and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Tips & Recommendations

I try and get the same size of salmon, that way they bake evenly. Use fresh salmon if possible. I also like to make this with the salmon sliced into servings. You can make it with filets of salmon. You can grill this salmon recipe too.
