RECIPE

Easy Teriyaki Salmon

When we went to Vegas for vacation, we went to this Sushi restaurant. The kids menu was one of our favorites ever and the presentation was just adorable. The kids meals came in a little black boat. It was such a fun way to present the food for kids and our kids absolutely loved it. Isabella both nights ordered salmon teriyaki and was obsessed with it. She had soy sauce for the first time and loved it. She now wants it on everything at home.

This was one meal I wanted to recreate it, because Isabella and Lele loved it. Isabella even let me try it and it was delicious. I couldn’t wait to make this for dinner. It took a few tries to get a recipe that I loved and that was easy to make. I thought about making my own teriyaki sauce, but I wanted easy. I went with store bought teriyaki sauce and added a little bit to it for more flavor. I mixed the teriyaki sauce with the garlic, ginger and pepper. I wanted to add a little more flavor to the sauce, because the teriyaki sauce at the sushi place was amazing.

We made some steam broccoli to go with it and some brown rice. Isabella and Lele said it was just as good as the restaurant. I loved the flavor and how simple it was to make. Easy meals are my best friend!!
