Edible Cookie Dough

So growing up I always ate chocolate chip cookie dough and I survived. I bet you did you too. Now a days they are saying you can’t eat cookie dough, so here is an edible cookie dough recipe for you. This is great to use as a topper for your ice cream, mixed with brownies or just to eat. I have also used it to top cupcakes and used as a filling for a cake. You can leave it in a small bowl or make but size balls from it and freeze them. So many options. Tell me your favorite way to eat cookie dough!!

Ingredients

¼ cup unsalted butter

½ cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract 

1-2 tbsp milk

1 cup all purpose flour

¾ cup mini chocolate chips

 

Directions

In a medium bowl cream butter and brown sugar for about 2 minutes. 

Add the vanilla extract.

Add the flour and mix until combined.

Add 1-2 tbsp of milk, mix until almost combined.

Add chocolate chips.

Refrigerate for 15 minutes. 

Wrap in Saran Wrap, keep in fridge for up to a week or freeze in freezer bag for 3 months.

Ready in 20 minutes Makes about 3 dozen bite size balls

 

Tips & Recommendations

If you want more chocolate chips add 1 cup, if not 3/4 cup of chocolate chips. You must use mini chocolate chips.
