Funfetti Brownies
We love brownies in our house. In fact I have quite a few different brownie recipes on my blog. As I wad working on a new brownie recipe, because we can’t have to many brownie recipes. I decided to do a funfetti brownie. There aren’t man funfetti brownie recipes out. The kids loved these brownies!! I mean chocolate and brownies are the perfect combination.
I am all about an easy recipe!!. These brownies are that, an easy recipe and delicious. Oh did I mention fun? The jimmies inside the brownies are super fun. I have added a chocolate ganache glaze on top and added more jimmies/sprinkles. These brownies are perfect for a special occasion or just because. Trust me your kids will love them!!

Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- 8 ounces of chopped semi sweet chocolate
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs room temperature
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ¼ cup black cocoa
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup rainbow sprinkles
- Chocolate ganache-1 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 cup chocolate chips (60%)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350. Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder and salt, set aside.
- In a medium pot melt your butter.
- Once butter is melted add brown sugar and sugar, mix until combined. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Add vanilla and eggs, whisk together until combined.
- Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mix until combined.
- Fold in the jimmies/sprinkles.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until done.
Tips & Recommendations
Eggs must be room temperature, if not you will have scrambled eggs in your brownies. Which is gross!! It is Important for the butter mixture to cool a little bit before adding the eggs.
