RECIPE
Homemade Chili
Growing up I didn’t like chili, I thought it was gross. We always had chili with rice and I just wanted to eat the rice. My mom had rules and we had to eat what was in front of is. Well times have changed and I would say in the past 15 years or so, I became a big fan of chili. However Jimmy and I can only eat it on chilly day. I think my mom would be happy that I like chili and love her recipe. My chili recipe is an updated recipe of my mom’s and I only wish she was here to share it with. I love to top my bowl of chili, with sour cream or greek yogurt, cheese and fresh cilantro.

Tips & Recommendations
We prefer Bush’s chili beans. You can definitely cook this in the crockpot on low heat and let it cook for the day while you are at work. You can substitute the sausage for more ground beef.
