RECIPE

Shredded Beef Tacos

Lately I have been working on some easier and kid friendly recipes. I know once the kids move into our home, our lives are going to be so different. So I want to be able to have some easy meals to make when needed. I also know the kids love being in the kitchen and love to bake and cook. So we definitely want them to be involve while they have an interest.

I have been asked for more crockpot recipes and my hubs has been wanting these shredded beef tacos. So it is definitely a winning dinner. I whisk all the seasoning together, just to make sure it is incorporated, before adding it to the crockpot. I basically then add the beef broth, chilis and seasoning whisk together. Throw in the meat and turn it a few times in there. Then squeeze the line juice and let it cook. The only bad thing about a crockpot meal is when it is cooking and I am home all day, it makes me hungry…hahaha.

The tacos have a little bit of a kick thanks to the fiesta seasoning, but you can definitely cut back on that. I discovered this company Pex Peppers LLC and we love their seasonings. They definitely add a lot of flavor to dishes. I don’t like things as spicy as the hubs, which I can say these were not super spicy.

What is your favorite taco?

Tips & Recommendations

You can substitute taco seasoning for the chili lime, but if you haven’t gotten the chili lime seasoning, you really need to. You can also substitute a a little bit of cayenne pepper and paprika for the fiesta seasoning.
