RECIPE

Chambord Creek Cider

Last year for my birthday we went to our favorite winery, Oliver Winery. They had this amazing peach cider in their wine tasting. So we bought a few bottles and brought them home. Neither one of us is really a cider person, but this peach cider is delicious. We actually need to make a trip back there to get some. This winery is so beautiful, especially during the Fall season.

So the other day I said to the hubs, wouldn’t the peach cider be good with the maple bourbon. He said yes and add a shot of Chambord. So we use Knob Creek Maple Bourbon. Even if you aren’t a huge bourbon person, this is one to try. It really makes a difference in drinks. I have a few drink recipes that call for this bourbon.

I topped the drink with a little more cider at the end. I like the layers of the drink. The bottom is the maple bourbon cider. Middle layer is a shot of Chambord. Top layer peach cider. Definitely add a spring of rosemary for a nice touch of freshness. I was actually shocked that Jimmy like the rosemary. Usually he removes the green stuff. Yes that is what Jimmy calls herbs and salad.

Tips & Recommendations

I highly recommend Knob Creek Maple Bourbon, but you can substitute another bourbon. Also put the rosemary and cinnamon stick in the drinks. They both add a nice flavor to the drink.
