RECIPE
Homemade Rice Pilaf
Growing up we had rice pilaf a lot. My mom would always making. One day my sister said to me you need to start making it on your own. So it took me a little bit to make it and I am so glad I did. I can’t believe how easy it was and it was so much better than the box mix from the grocery store.
All you need is some onion, garlic, orzo, rice, chicken stock, salt and pepper. In the past year chicken stock has become such a staple in my house. I have used it so much with cooking. So always keep some on hand, you never know when you will need it.
I am definitely a rice person, when it is good. I could just eat rice and sometimes I do for a snack or lunch. So I always have rice on hand. I love this recipe because it makes a lot and will give you some leftovers too. It was great, I think we did four meals with it.
That’s the Dish from my Kitchen to your Kitchen ????

Tips & Recommendations
I used Jasmine rice, which takes a little little bit longer to cook. If you are using white rice, adjust your cooking time of the rice. It will probably take ten minutes less to cook. Make sure to rinse the Jasmine rice before it adding it to the pot.
