RECIPE

Skillet Lasagna

Everyone loves an easy meal and most people love comfort food too. My family loves pasta and would eat it every day if they could. So for JJ’s birthday I made this skillet lasagna and it was a huge hit. It got gobbled up by everyone. Everyone had seconds and JJ had thirds. So don’t mind the pictures, I forgot to take them before I started dishing it out.

You start with ground beef and Italian Sausage (take the sausage out of the casings) and cook until almost done. Add in the onion and garlic. After you had the sauce, water and seasonings, bring to a boil. Add in the broken lasagna and let simmer for about 15 minutes. Mix in half the cheese and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Cover and cook for about 3 minutes until in melted.

So when you are looking for an easy meal and one that has all the comfort feel, this dinner is for you.

Love,

Billie-Jo
